Responsibilities for Heavy Equipment Operator

Performs daily preventive maintenance to heavy equipment (Fueling, Greasing and more)

Operates a variety of construction class vehicles

Operate vehicles with safety devices/precautions in place
-
Works as part of a team under strict deadlines and safety guidelines
-
Expected to work in a variety of extreme weather conditions

Maintenance of licensing and certification on all vehicles the require licensing or certifications

Wear Safety PPE at all times

Attend all safety trainings and Perform all daily safety requirements as outlined by the RTS safety department
Qualifications for Heavy Equipment Operator

Driver's license, required
-
Clean driving record
-
Ability to pass a drug test
-
2+ years of experience operating heavy equipment

Understanding of job site safety procedures

Familiarity with preventive maintenance on a variety of construction class vehicles
-
Willingness to work a variety of shifts with 2 weeks' notice
-
Willingness to be outside in a variety of extreme weather conditions
