North State Water Testing & Pump is seeking an experienced and dependable Water Well & Pump Technician to join our team. This position involves water well inspections, water sampling, pump repairs, pump installations, and installation/service of residential water treatment systems.
Hours may vary week to week, and participation in the on-call rotation, including weekends, is required.
Responsibilities
- Perform water well inspections and testing
- Collect water samples for laboratory analysis
- Diagnose, repair, and install well pumps and pumping systems
- Install and maintain whole-house filtration and water treatment equipment
- Perform routine filter changes and system maintenance
- Communicate professionally with homeowners, tenants, real estate agents, and other customers
Requirements
- Previous experience with well pumps, water systems, or related trades required
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to report to work
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Basic computer skills for report writing and documentation
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated
