Job Title and Summary: Retail Associate
This is a full time position working for a fun and high energy team. We are skiers and we are bikers! In addition to selling all of the products that we manufacture, we also have a full ski and bike tune shop. Ski and bike mechanic skills are a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
● Drive retail sales and hit sales goals
● Responsible for merchandising and shop cleanliness and presentation
● Monthly inventory
● Seasonal buying
● Weekly scheduling of retail staff and ski/bike techs
● Leadership skills required and positive collaboration with all team members is important. This position is required to host training clinics seasonally with all bar and kitchen staff.
● Upholding all RMU customer service standards as laid out in the RMU Customer Service SOP.
● Product knowledge and sales - This position requires thorough outdoor industry knowledge and the ability to explain all RMU products and related products to all levels of RMU customers. You are the face of the brand to in store customers and must be able to effectively communicate what makes RMU
● Networking - The Retail associate needs to foster organic relationships and friendships that when needed can be utilized to further the development of the RMU brand.
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
● Employees should be self-motivated.
● Employees should have knowledge of ski, snowboard and bike equipment (minimum of 3yrs experience required).
● Must be able to safely handle power tools, hand tools, and other commercial ski tech equipment.
● Prior experience working in a tech shop is a plus
● Create a positive experience for the guests
Pay: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour
