Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options using established recipes or custom creations
- Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests, ensuring timely delivery and attentive service
- Process cash and card transactions efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in accordance with food safety standards
- Develop new beverage recipes and contribute to menu updates to enhance guest experience
- Engage with guests to provide personalized recommendations, upsell items, and ensure satisfaction
- Manage bar inventory levels, restock supplies as needed, and monitor alcohol consumption in compliance with legal regulations
Requirements
- Proven experience in bartending or serving within the hospitality industry, preferably in fine dining or upscale venues
- Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, spirits, wine varieties, and beverage recipe development
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions accurately
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs professionally
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper handling of food and beverages
- Previous experience with catering events or banquet service is a plus
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order calculations
- Experience with beverage crafting including brewing or brewing-related knowledge is advantageous
