Game Theory Restaurant + Bar is an exciting new concept focused on creating memorable experiences for our guests. We aim to foster a community where friends and family come together for game nights filled with laughter, great food, and specialty craft cocktails. Our menu highlights gourmet pies, comfort-style dishes, and carefully curated cocktails.
We’re looking for passionate individuals who thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment to join our team as part-time Server/Bartenders. If you love interacting with guests, working collaboratively with your team, and bringing positive energy to the workplace, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Provide attentive and friendly service to all guests, taking food and drink orders efficiently.
- Craft Cocktails: Learn and mix craft cocktails to Game Theory standards from our curated menu.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen and bar staff to ensure food and drinks meet our quality standards.
- Order Fulfillment: Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring an exceptional guest experience.
- Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the bar and service area clean, stocked, and organized throughout your shift.
- Training: Successfully complete our comprehensive training program to learn all aspects of the role.
- Support Team: Be a team player, helping fellow team members to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications:
- Must meet state minimum age requirements for serving alcohol.
- Ability to obtain necessary certifications, such as food handler permits and TABC seller training.
- Experience in a high-volume or fast-casual restaurant environment preferred, but not required.
- Strong interpersonal skills; able to interact with guests and co-workers in a friendly, enthusiastic manner.
- Physically able to carry objects like high chairs, ice bins, and glass racks (up to 30 lbs) multiple times during a shift.
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours and maintain mobility in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills; must be able to speak and write in English.
