As the Store Manager, you are the heartbeat of our daily operations. You aren’t just overseeing a floor; you are driving sales, mentoring a team, and managing the unique logistics of our weekly auction cycles. We are looking for a proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in maintaining a "grand opening" standard every single day.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Manage employee scheduling, training, and daily performance to ensure a motivated and efficient workforce.
- Operational Oversight: Lead the Weekly Auction Building process and oversee inventory sorting to ensure a steady flow of exciting products.
- Sales & Service: Engage with customers to drive revenue, provide expert product recommendations, and resolve any escalations with a "customer-first" mindset.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, manage replenishments, and maintain organized back-of-house systems.
- Financial Integrity: Expertly operate the POS system, manage cash handling, and apply "retail math" for accurate pricing and discount strategies.
- Store Excellence: Maintain a pristine, organized, and safe shopping environment through diligent merchandising and restocking.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven Leadership: Previous experience in retail management (Grocery or high-volume retail preferred).
- Dynamic Communication: Ability to coach a team and charm a customer in the same breath.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency with POS systems and basic inventory management software.
- Math Fluency: Comfortable calculating margins, discounts, and processing complex transactions.
- Physical Agility: Ability to stand for long periods and assist in inventory sorting/stocking as needed.
