American Fork Vision Center is a fun, well-established family eye care practice looking for an organized, outgoing professional to join our team as a Medical Technician. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants to build skills in healthcare.
No prior medical experience is required. We provide hands-on training for the right candidate.
Schedule
- Weekdays: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Saturdays: Two Saturdays per month, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Pay & Benefits
- Starting pay: $18.00/hour
- Performance bonuses: Goal-based office bonuses typically

Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Welcome patients and assist with check-in and insurance verification
- Perform pre-testing before the doctor visit
- Verify and record eyeglass prescriptions
- Teach patients how to insert and remove contact lenses
- Assist with dispensing and adjusting glasses
- Answer phones and assist with scheduling
- Support doctors and staff with daily clinic operations
- Maintain a clean, organized work environment
Qualifications
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Energetic and dependable
- A quick learner who can multitask efficiently
- Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Friendly and professional with patients and coworkers
- Strong in basic math skills
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Customer service or sales experience preferred, but not required
- High school diploma or equivalent required
