Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Montessori Teacher to join our passionate team of educators. The ideal candidate is someone who embraces the Montessori philosophy, fosters independence, and cultivates a lifelong love of learning in every child.
What you’ll do
- Create and maintain a peaceful, engaging, and child-centered learning environment
- Guide children through individualized and hands-on learning experiences following Montessori principles.
- Utilize effective behavior management techniques to maintain a positive atmosphere
- Conduct assessments and standardized testing to evaluate student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to support student development and address any concerns
- Facilitate literacy education, math concepts, and physical education activities that promote holistic development
- Maintain organized classroom management practices that ensure safety and efficiency
Basic qualifications
- Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues
Preferred qualifications
- Background in early childhood education or preschool experience
- Familiarity with Montessori methods or similar educational philosophies
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management strategies
- Experience in curriculum development, lesson planning, and tutoring
