Job Overview
We are looking for a friendly and energetic Host/Hostess to be the welcoming face of our establishment. In this role, you will create a warm and inviting atmosphere for our guests from the moment they arrive. Your enthusiasm and excellent communication skills will ensure guests feel valued and comfortable throughout their dining experience. This position is perfect for someone passionate about hospitality and guest relations who thrives in a lively environment.
Duties
- Greet guests with a genuine smile and assist them to their table.
- Manage reservations/calls efficiently using Open Table ensuring accuracy.
- Provide guests with any answers about Nobu to enhance their experience.
- Maintain a clean and organized host stand, ensuring all materials are stocked and presentable.
- Coordinate with staff to communicate guest needs and special requests promptly.
- Handle guest inquiries over the phone with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of prior experience working as a host or hostess in a fine dining restaurant .
- Strong communication skills with an approachable demeanor.
- Knowledge of Open Table.
- Excellent guest service skills with an emphasis on hospitality.
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Professional appearance with good phone etiquette and positive attitude.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time, go up and down stairs and lift up to 50 lbs.
You must have open flexibility in your schedule as you will be expected to work lunch and dinner shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Your training rate will be minimum wage and then offered $20-$22 per hour.
