Overview
We are seeking an experienced Professional Engineer (PE) to join our team as a part-time or project-based Engineering Consultant.
This position is ideal for engineers with extensive experience in Electrical, Process, or Instrumentation (I&C) Engineering within the Utility, Power Generation, Nuclear, Industrial, or Process industries.
As a consultant, you will provide technical expertise, engineering reviews, and project support while working with a collaborative engineering team on a flexible schedule.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical consultation and engineering guidance.
- Review engineering drawings, calculations, specifications, and design documents.
- Verify compliance with applicable engineering codes, standards, and client requirements.
- Support Electrical, Process, and Instrumentation (I&C) engineering projects.
- Participate in design reviews, technical meetings, and project planning.
- Assist project teams with engineering problem-solving and technical recommendations.
- Mentor engineering staff and promote engineering quality and best practices.
Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
- Extensive experience in Electrical, Process, or Instrumentation Engineering.
- Experience with Utility Companies, Power Plants, Nuclear Facilities, EPC firms, Chemical Plants, or Industrial Manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of NEC, NFPA, IEEE, ISA, and other applicable engineering standards.
- Excellent communication, technical review, and problem-solving skills.

Pay: $150.00 - $400.00 per hour
