Job Title: Paralegal (Full-Time/Part-Time)
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and self-motivated paralegal to support our attorneys and ensure the smooth operation of our law firm. The ideal candidate will assist in managing daily administrative tasks, providing essential legal services, and enhancing office efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to attorneys, including monitoring emails, scheduling meetings, and managing calendars.
- Assist with legal research and the preparation of case-related materials.
- Draft, proofread, and file legal documents and correspondence.
- Communicate with clients, witnesses, and other external parties.
- Handle phone calls, direct inquiries, and maintain up-to-date contact lists.
- Monitor case deadlines, manage task prioritization, and ensure all schedules are maintained.
- Facilitate the organization and retrieval of case-relevant information.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and legal research databases.
- Excellent typing skills and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in a legal setting is preferred but not required.
