Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Dual Maintenance Supervisor to lead and oversee our facilities and manufacturing maintenance teams under the Cheif Engineer. This role is vital in ensuring the seamless operation of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and industrial systems across our facilities. Duties
- Supervise and manage facilities maintenance teams responsible for mechanical systems repair, electrical systems troubleshooting, HVAC system repair, plumbing maintenance, and industrial maintenance activities.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to optimize equipment uptime and reduce downtime.
- Oversee project management initiatives related to facilities upgrades, equipment installations, and system repairs, ensuring timely completion within scope and budget.
- Conduct engineering troubleshooting for complex mechanical and electrical issues using schematics, ohmmeters, multimeters, and other diagnostic tools.
- Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to OSHA safety regulations and company safety policies; conduct regular safety audits and training sessions.
- Manage high voltage and low voltage electrical systems; perform electrical repairs with precision while maintaining safety standards.
- Review schematics, technical manuals, and system diagrams to facilitate effective repairs and system upgrades.
- Lead incident investigations related to maintenance failures or safety incidents; implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Coordinate with management to manage facilities maintenance budgets, resources, and staffing needs effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment history, safety inspections, and compliance documentation using CMMS software.
- Foster a team-oriented environment by providing coaching, training, and leadership development opportunities for team members.
Experience
- Proven management experience supervising facilities or manufacturing maintenance teams in an industrial environment.
- Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems repair including HVAC systems (including HVAC system repair), plumbing systems maintenance, electrical systems (including high voltage and low voltage), and industrial machinery troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations such as OSHA standards related to electrical work, machinery operation, working at heights, and hazardous materials handling.
- Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics interpretation, ohmmeters, multimeters, and other diagnostic tools essential for engineering troubleshooting.
- Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with CMMS platforms for work order management; ability to analyze data for continuous improvement initiatives.
- Excellent communication skills in English; capable of preparing reports and conducting safety briefings effectively.
- Knowledge of facilities management best practices including managing facilities maintenance procedures in manufacturing or industrial settings.
- Prior experience managing high voltage electrical systems safely; understanding of electrical experience requirements for industrial environments is essential.
