This position performs a wide variety of complex, legal and technical processes and is responsible for a variety of duties in processing a civil and domestic law case from, initiation to completion. These tasks may include processing domestic and civil: law orders, divorce decrees, income deduction orders, pleadings, legal name changes, juvenile appeals, concealed weapon permits, adoptions, civil litigation exhibits, case dismissals and rule to show cause orders. Works under the supervision of the Civil Case Processing supervisor.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

High school graduation; Plus two years of experience providing administrative support, technical support, customer service, or working in a court or legal environment.
NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
The appointee to this position will be required to complete a criminal background check to the satisfaction of the employer.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Two or more years of court and/or legal experience.

Two or more years of experience in providing front-line customer services.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Experience working in a team environment.

Two or more years of experience performing data entry.

Cashiering experience.

Experience digitizing records and using scanning equipment.

Ability to exercise tact, discretion, initiative, creativity, and independent judgment.

Experience in the use of Microsoft Office computer software, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to input, access, and retrieve information from a computer. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing. Ability to stand for an extended period of time. All duties performed with or without reasonable accommodations.
