Description:
This position is responsible for accurately selecting, staging, and loading engineered wood products (EWP) for customer orders. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while handling building materials. Forklift operation is a primary function of this role. The EWP Puller will spend a significant portion of each shift safety operating a forklift to move, stage, and organize truss materials throughout the facility.
DUTIES AND RESPONDSIBILITIES:
- Accurately pull and prepare engineered wood products based on customer orders and packing lists.
- Verify product types, dimensions, and quantities against order details.
- Safely load and secure materials onto delivery trucks or customer vehicles using forklifts, cranes, or manual techniques.
- Organize materials in the yard for efficient access and reduced handling.
- Conduct regular checks to ensure stock accuracy and quality of engineered wood materials.
- Report any shortages, damages, or discrepancies to the supervisor.
- Follow all company and OSHA safety guidelines, including proper lifting techniques and equipment operation protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Coordinate with sales, dispatch, and yard staff to ensure timely and accurate order processing.
- Assist in other yard tasks as needed, such as unloading deliveries or maintaining equipment.
Requirements:
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- This position is primarily yard-based, with occasional office or warehouse interactions.
- Typical work hours are Monday through Friday with potential overtime during busy periods.

EDUCATION:
