Lead Barista
We are looking for a responsible, customer-focused Lead Barista who knows coffee extremely well. The ideal candidate understands coffee flavors, can dial in espresso correctly, creates excellent latte art, and takes pride in beautiful drink presentation.
Responsibilities
- Prepare high-quality espresso, coffee, tea, and specialty drinks
- Dial in espresso and adjust grind size, dose, and extraction as needed
- Understand coffee flavors and confidently explain them to customers
- Create new seasonal and signature drinks
- Produce consistent latte art and professional drink presentation
- Lead and support the barista team during daily operations
- Train staff on coffee preparation, customer service, and food safety
- Keep the bar, equipment, and café clean and organized
- Handle POS transactions, cash, and card payments accurately
- Provide friendly, attentive, and professional customer service
Requirements
- Strong barista experience and excellent coffee knowledge
- Skilled in espresso dialing and milk steaming
- Ability to create quality latte art
- Creative ability to develop new drinks and flavor combinations
- High standards for drink quality and presentation
- Responsible, organized, dependable, and able to lead by example
- Positive attitude and strong customer service skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced café environment
- Leadership or supervisory experience is preferred
Pay: From $14.00 per hour
