Front Line Trace Consulting LLC is looking for a Superintendent (Mechanical) for a college/university renovation project in Long Island City, NY. The client for this role is the Dormitory Authority of the State of New York (DASNY).
Responsibilities:
This position requires daily supervision, attend and assist with field coordination, review monthly payment requests, review and prepare change order estimates and coordination with other trades for the LaGuardia Community College Infrastructure Upgrade project.
MEP Qualifications:
We are looking for someone who has experience with MEP work including, but not limited to, the following:
- Chillers and Cooling Towers
- Dry coolers
- Air Handling Units
- Chilled water and Condensing water distribution piping
- Electrical upgrades including new switchgears, transformers, emergency generator
- Fire pump, Domestic water booster pump
- FA system
- New elevators
General Qualifications:
- 8 years’ experience in construction.
- 5 years’ experience as a superintendent.
- Large scale building and rehab project experience.
- Experience with vertical building construction and institutional/public sector projects is strongly preferred.
- Mechanical and electrical installation experience.
- Able to perform document review.
