Job Summary
Join our dedicated team as an Adult Day Health Care Program Aide, where you will play a vital role in providing compassionate, comprehensive care to adult patients in a supportive community setting. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with diverse patient populations, including geriatrics and individuals requiring post-acute or outpatient care. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help ensure a safe, engaging environment that promotes health, independence, and well-being for all participants. As a Program Aide, you will assist with daily activities, monitor patient safety, and support clinical staff in delivering high-quality care.
Duties
- Assist patients with daily living activities such as mobility, hygiene, and nutrition while maintaining dignity and respect.
- Monitor patient conditions, report changes promptly to nursing staff, and document observations accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Support therapeutic activities and social engagement initiatives designed to enhance patient well-being.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by adhering to infection control protocols and manual handling procedures.
- Operate company vehicles to transport participants to/from home.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless delivery of care (Toileting participants, kitchen duties, assisting with cleaning duties).
- Follow all facility policies on infection control, safety protocols, and patient confidentiality to uphold the highest standards of care.
- Driving participants to/from the Center.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with geriatric patients is highly preferred.
- High School Diploma.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR is required.
- Clean Driving record.
- Strong manual handling skills coupled with familiarity in infection control practices within care facilities.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team dedicated to patient-centered care.

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
