Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, conduct comprehensive assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans. This role requires a strong background in medical-surgical nursing, health coaching, and experience with children. The Nurse Practitioner will play a vital role in enhancing patient outcomes through effective diagnostic evaluation and management.
Duties
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and health assessments for patients of all ages, including children.
- Perform diagnostic evaluations and interpret results to formulate appropriate treatment plans.
- Administer medications and treatments following established protocols while ensuring aseptic technique.
- Provide health coaching to patients and families to promote wellness and preventive care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans for patients, particularly those requiring memory care.
- Utilize sonography skills as needed for diagnostic purposes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Educate patients on managing chronic conditions and promote healthy lifestyle choices.
Qualifications
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license with relevant certifications.
- Strong experience in medical-surgical nursing preferred.
- Proficiency in diagnostic evaluation techniques and physical examinations.
- Familiarity with medication administration protocols and aseptic techniques.
- Experience working with children is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team while demonstrating strong leadership skills.
