Construction Project Coordinator
Spraggins has served the construction industry for more than 45 years as an established, vertically integrated subcontractor. We supply, distribute, and install cabinets, countertops, and flooring for leading multifamily developers and general contractors throughout Florida and the Southeast.
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join a small team within a growing new division. This is an administrative, computer-based position focused on preparing projects for a successful start and keeping information accurate, complete, and organized.
The Project Coordinator will work closely with the Division Manager and communicate regularly with customers and internal departments. This opportunity is well suited for someone who takes ownership of their work, enjoys creating order, and is motivated by helping build new processes and support a growing operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete preconstruction setup for new projects, ensuring all required information is accurate and complete.
- Enter, review, and maintain project data across company systems.
- Organize contracts, purchase orders, plans, schedules, and other project documentation.
- Communicate with customers to gather information, clarify requirements, and provide routine updates.
- Work directly with the Division Manager to support project planning and daily priorities.
- Maintain organized electronic project files and accurate records.
- Track outstanding information, deadlines, and action items.
- Identify and help resolve discrepancies involving documentation, billing, materials, or project data.
- Assist with vendor and subcontractor documentation.
- Support the administrative and operational needs of the division as it grows.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities.
- Comfortable spending most of the workday working on a computer.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Professional and confident when communicating with customers.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and willing to take ownership of responsibilities.
- Comfortable working on a small team where flexibility and collaboration are important.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel.
- Able to learn new software, systems, and processes quickly.
- Construction, preconstruction, project coordination, or administrative experience is preferred but not required.
