This role will support controls development, work with vendors, understand architecture/function blocks, and a suitable engineer will comfortably work within a global controls team. They will support project delivery, software/control logic discussions, and programming. The role combines duties to be carried out remotely, such as programming support and development, and onsite/travel duties including SAT’s, machine testing and vendor coordination.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years' experience with CodeSys or Beckhoff programming
- Strong background in PLC programming and software development
- Proven track record in industrial automation systems
- Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
- Strong understanding of automation components and industrial hardware
- Experience in HMI design and WebVisu visualization
- Python programming skills beneficial (not essential) for scripting, automation, AI-related tasks, and software problem solving
