Do you enjoy working on off-road vehicles, solving mechanical problems, and spending your days outdoors instead of inside a shop? Hot Springs Off-Road Park is looking for an Adventure Vehicle Mechanic & Off-Road Guide to help keep our fleet operating safely while occasionally leading guests on unforgettable off-road adventures.
Every day is different. One day you may be diagnosing a mechanical issue, another day recovering a rental vehicle on the trails, and the next guiding guests through some of Arkansas’ best off-road terrain.

What You’ll Do:
Fleet Maintenance
- Perform inspections, preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on our Side-by-Side rental fleet.
- Wash, fuel, and prepare vehicles for upcoming reservations.
- Keep accurate maintenance records using our maintenance software (training provided).
- Update vehicle availability so the operations team always knows which machines are rental-ready.
Shop & Equipment
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe workshop.
- Help maintain other park equipment including tractors, trailers, chainsaws, mowers, and utility equipment.
- Assist with inventory organization and shop housekeeping.
Guest Experience
- Occasionally guide Side-by-Side tours and Off-Roading 101 experiences.
- Assist with trail-side vehicle recovery when needed.
- Help guests enjoy a safe, fun, and memorable adventure.
- Demonstrate safe operating practices at all times.
Team Support
- Cross-train in other park operations during slower seasons.
- Support other departments when needed.
- Help identify maintenance concerns before they become major problems.

Qualifications
- Mechanical experience with UTVs, ATVs, automotive, diesel, agricultural, or similar equipment.
- Experience with Kawasaki Side-by-Sides is a plus but not required.
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to safely use hand tools and shop equipment.
- Weekend and holiday availability preferred.
Work Environment
This is an active outdoor position. You’ll work around vehicles, heavy equipment, trails, mud, dust, changing weather, and uneven terrain.
Physical Requirements
- Lift and move 50+ pounds.
- Stand, bend, kneel, climb, and work outdoors for extended periods.
- Safely operate tools, equipment, and machinery.
