Responsibilities
- Manage daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth workflow and high standards of service
- Supervise and motivate staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management
- Oversee food preparation and food service management to guarantee quality and consistency
- Implement sanitation procedures and food safety protocols in compliance with health regulations
- Coordinate shift management to optimize customer satisfaction and operational efficiency
- Maintain inventory control, food handling procedures, and manage food production processes
- Ensure excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally
- Utilize POS systems for order processing, billing, and reporting to streamline restaurant functions
- Lead hospitality teams in delivering memorable dining experiences while fostering a positive work environment
Experience
- Proven management experience within the food industry or hospitality sector, preferably in restaurant settings
- Extensive knowledge of food service management, kitchen management, and food safety procedures
- Demonstrated supervising experience with staff supervision and team leadership skills
- Familiarity with culinary practices such as cooking, food preparation, catering, banquet experience or dietary department experience is advantageous
- Experience with managing hospitality teams in fast-paced environments involving shift management and customer service excellence
- Strong understanding of food handling regulations, sanitation procedures, and food safety management systems
- Prior experience with POS systems, kitchen experience or barista/coffee experience is a plus
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively
