Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations to assess communication skills
- Develop therapy goals in collaboration with the IEP team
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions
- Monitor student progress and update goals as needed
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to reinforce strategies in the classroom
- Recommend classroom supports or accommodations to help students participate
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP license in the state of Virginia
- Familiarity with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and the ability to develop and implement them effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and support staff.
