Duties
- Skillfully operate heavy machinery such as dozers, excavators, and other construction equipment to perform grading, digging, lifting, and material handling tasks
- Conduct pre-operation inspections on all equipment to ensure safety standards are met and perform routine maintenance as needed.
- Assist with site preparation by clearing land and leveling surfaces.
- Collaborate with project managers and crew members to coordinate tasks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols and project timelines.
- Maintain detailed logs of equipment usage, maintenance activities, and site operations for accountability and reporting purposes.
- Follow all safety guidelines rigorously to prevent accidents and promote a secure work environment.
Experience
- Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as dozers, excavators, and similar machinery on active construction sites.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment systems and troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with construction site safety procedures and regulations.
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
