Thomas, Head & Greisen is looking for a Senior Audit Accountant to join our team. A successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of public accounting experience with an emphasis in audit. We strive to offer quality client service within a 32-hour work week during the summer and 50+ hour work weeks during tax season.
Skills Required:
- Client service focus
- Knowledge and ability to assume full responsibility for audit engagements including planning, delegating and reviewing work, supervising staff in the office and in the field, meeting budget expectations and assisting in the completion of audit
- CPA in the State of Alaska, preferred
- Ability to train, supervise and develop staff
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as work independently
- Excellent accounting, math, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work with deadlines
- Proficient in Word and Excel
The Senior Audit Accountant will be able to lead in the effective and efficient operations of the audit practice area.
