About the Opportunity
Our client is seeking experienced Family Nurse Practitioners (FNPs) for full-time and part-time contract opportunities at an established outpatient healthcare facility in Bronx, NY. We are actively hiring qualified providers who are passionate about delivering comprehensive, patient-centered primary care to diverse patient populations.
Candidates must have a minimum of two (2) years of Family Nurse Practitioner experience. An active New York State Nurse Practitioner (NP) license and Family Nurse Practitioner-Board Certified (FNP-BC) certification are required.
The hourly pay rate is $90.00 per hour. Actual compensation offered may vary based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors. Additional details will be discussed during the interview process.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests and laboratory results
- Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with New York State regulations and organizational policies
- Provide preventive care, health screenings, and patient education
- Counsel patients on disease prevention, wellness, and healthy lifestyle choices
- Document patient encounters accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain compliance with clinical guidelines, quality standards, and regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Active and unrestricted New York State Nurse Practitioner (NP) license (required)
- Family Nurse Practitioner-Board Certified (FNP-BC) (required)
- Minimum of two (2) years of Family Nurse Practitioner experience required
- Current DEA registration (if applicable)
- Current BLS certification preferred
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team
