Job Title: Spot Welder
Location: Sanford, NC
Duration: 12+ Months (Contract/Temp with the possibility of extension)

Pay Range: $18/hr
Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Spot Welder to join a manufacturing/production team. The ideal candidate will operate resistance welding equipment to join metal components, ensure product quality, and maintain safety standards in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform resistance spot welding to join metal components
Operate welding machinery by placing materials and adjusting machine settings as needed
Read and interpret blueprints, safety instructions, and work procedures
Inspect products at various stages of production to ensure quality standards are met
Identify and report defective materials or equipment issues to the supervisor
Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety regulations
Follow all workplace safety guidelines and use required PPE
Work under supervision and follow instructions from production leadership
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting preferred
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
Basic knowledge of welding or machine operation (preferred)
Ability to communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking)
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally
Ability to work in a noisy, dusty, and non-climate-controlled environment
Comfortable working with machinery, moving parts, and welding equipment
Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm movements
Willingness to work overtime as needed
Work Environment
Industrial / manufacturing plant setting
Exposure to machinery, welding flash, and production equipment
Must adhere to strict safety standards and use required protective equipment
