Liberty Construction is a fast-growing general contractor specializing in healthcare interior build-outs across the DMV region. We’re looking for a driven Assistant Superintendent to support field operations and help deliver high-quality projects on tight timelines.
Position Overview
This role is critical to the success of our fast-paced projects (90–120 days, $300K–$1M). You’ll work on-site to coordinate subcontractors, manage daily operations, and ensure quality and schedule goals are met alongside the Project Manager and Superintendent.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing day-to-day field operations on active job sites
- Coordinate subcontractors and ensure schedule adherence
- Track and manage RFIs, change orders, and punch list items
- Maintain project documentation using Procore or similar software
- Monitor material deliveries and site logistics
- Conduct quality control checks and ensure high-end finish standards
- Support job site safety and compliance requirements
- Communicate effectively with Project Managers, architects, owners, and trades
Qualifications
- 2+ years of commercial construction experience
- Associate degree or equivalent industry experience preferred
- At least 1 year in interior fit-out or field supervision preferred
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and MEP drawings
- Experience using Procore or similar construction management software
- Strong communication skills (including writing professional emails)
- OSHA 30 certification (required)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle
