Duties

- Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement techniques and behavior management strategies to ensure a safe and respectful learning environment.
- Work closely with children to support their emotional well-being, social skills, and overall development, including those requiring special education or early intervention services.
- Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods to monitor progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and colleagues to communicate student progress and develop individualized learning plans when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, lesson plans, and child welfare documentation to ensure compliance with licensing requirements.
Experience
- Prior classroom experience in early childhood education or preschool settings is encouraged.
- Demonstrated ability to develop curriculum content across subjects.
- Experience working with children of various ages, including preschoolers, with an understanding of childhood development principles.
- Knowledge of classroom management techniques that foster positive behavior and engagement among young learners.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with families, colleagues, and community partners.
