We are looking for a reliable, motivated Skilled Laborer to join our construction team. In this role, you will support both residential and commercial projects, ranging from custom home builds and high-end remodeling to commercial tenant improvements.
The ideal candidate has hands-on construction experience, a strong work ethic, and the ability to safely and efficiently support our project leads on-site.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Site Preparation & Cleanup: Set up job sites with necessary materials and tools; clear debris, hazards, and waste to maintain a safe, clean work environment.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and safely move construction materials, tools, and heavy equipment across the job site.
- Assistance to Trades: Assist carpenters, framers, and other skilled tradespeople with framing, demolition, drywall, installations, and general remodeling tasks.
- Tool Operation: Safely operate a variety of hand and power tools (e.g., drills, saws, grinders, pneumatic tools) as directed.
- Basic Construction Tasks: Perform basic measurements, cutting, positioning of materials, and general assembly.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to ensure an accident-free job site.
Job Requirements
- Experience: In residential or commercial construction, remodeling, or a related trade.
- Transportation: Must have reliable personal transportation to travel to various local job sites punctually.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform heavy physical labor, including lifting up to 50+ lbs, bending, kneeling, and standing for long periods in varying weather conditions.
- Tools: Basic hand tools (tool belt, hammer, tape measure) are preferred but not required.
- Teamwork: Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to take direction well from project superintendents.
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
