Experienced Physical Therapist – Help Build Something Different
After more than 25 years as a Physical Therapist, I started Strong for Life Therapy & Wellness because I believed there was a better way to provide physical therapy.
No double-booked schedules.
No rushing from patient to patient.
No treating people like a number.
Strong for Life is a growing mobile, cash-based physical therapy practice built around individualized, one-on-one care in the patient's home.
As the practice continues to grow, I am looking for an experienced Physical Therapist who shares that same philosophy of patient care.
What Makes This Position Different
- One-on-one patient care
- Approximately 60-minute visits
- Flexible scheduling
- Clinical autonomy
- Orthopedic and neurological patient population
- Streamlined documentation
- No high-volume clinic environment
- Mileage reimbursement
- Opportunity to grow with a developing practice
The Physical Therapist I'm Looking For
Clinical skill is important—but just as important is how you treat people.
I am looking for a Physical Therapist who is compassionate, dependable, professional, and genuinely invested in helping patients improve.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently in a mobile setting and has experience treating orthopedic and/or neurological conditions.
Strong manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, balance, gait, and functional rehabilitation skills are highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations
- Develop individualized plans of care
- Provide one-on-one treatment in patients' homes
- Utilize therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, manual therapy, gait and balance training, and patient education as clinically appropriate
- Maintain timely and professional clinical documentation
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals
- Represent Strong for Life Therapy & Wellness with compassion and professionalism
Qualifications
- Current New Jersey Physical Therapist license
- Physical therapy experience preferred
- Strong orthopedic and/or neurological clinical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally between patients
Compensation
Compensation is paid per completed patient visit rather than based on total hours worked.
- $80 per completed follow-up visit
- $90 per completed initial evaluation
- Mileage reimbursement
Patient visits are approximately 60 minutes. Compensation listed by Indeed as an hourly range reflects the approximate per-visit rate and is not an hourly wage.
Schedule
Part-time position starting at approximately 6–10 hours per week with the opportunity to grow as the caseload develops.
Patients are geographically scheduled whenever possible to minimize unnecessary travel.
