Overall note, Looking for skilled journeyman electricians to complete commercial Fiber inline amplifyier sites. Starting in Brierfield AL but this is a traveling position throughout the south east hemisphere. We are all commercial work with a large section being outdoor. We pay for healthcare, full dental, vision, match 401k, and short term disability. Can provide consistant 60 hours a week with 20 hours of OT.
Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across a variety of commercial, industrial, and renovation projects. Your expertise will ensure safe, efficient, and reliable electrical operations while adhering to all safety standards and electrical codes. Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to accurately execute electrical installations and repairs.
- Use hand tools, power tools, multimeters such as ohmmeters, and other testing devices to diagnose electrical issues effectively.
- Work on low voltage and high voltage systems, ensuring proper safety procedures are followed at all times.
- Collaborate with construction teams on site to coordinate electrical work during renovation or new construction projects.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, including inspections, repairs, and system modifications.
- Follow safety protocols diligently while working on construction sites or industrial environments involving complex electrical systems.
Requirements
- Valid Journeyman Electrician license or certification with proven experience in industrial or commercial electrical work.
- Extensive knowledge of the NEC (National Electrical Code) and local electrical codes.
- Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics reading, and troubleshooting industrial control systems.
- Proficiency with low voltage systems, power tools, hand tools, and testing equipment such as ohmmeters.
- Demonstrated experience working on construction sites involving renovation or new builds; familiarity with blueprint reading is essential.
- Ability to work safely around high voltage systems while maintaining compliance with all safety standards.
