Position Summary
Childcare Solutions Consulting Company (CSCC) is seeking a nurturing, dependable, and energetic Toddler Teacher to support the growth and development of children ages 12–36 months. The ideal candidate will create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment aligned with The Creative Curriculum, while maintaining full compliance with Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) childcare regulations and CSCC employee guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide consistent supervision and ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all toddlers at all times
- Implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans using The Creative Curriculum
- Support children’s social-emotional, physical, cognitive, and language development
- Maintain accurate daily documentation (attendance, incident reports, meal counts, daily reports, etc.)
- Follow all CSCC policies, procedures, and professional conduct standards
- Maintain ODJFS-required child-to-staff ratios at all times
- Perform and document daily health checks in accordance with ODJFS guidelines
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary classroom environment
- Support positive behavior guidance using age-appropriate techniques
- Communicate professionally and respectfully with families and team members
- Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and required professional development
- Assist with diapering, toileting, feeding, and nap routines following ODJFS health and safety rules
- Report concerns regarding child safety, health, or development to administration promptly
Required Qualifications (ODJFS Compliant)
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Must meet ODJFS staff qualification requirements for a Toddler Teacher
- Current BCI & FBI background checks (or willingness to obtain)
- CPR, First Aid, and Communicable Disease training (or willingness to complete upon hire)
- Ability to complete required annual ODJFS professional development hours
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and actively engage with young children
Preferred Qualifications
- CDA, Early Childhood Education coursework, or Associate’s Degree in ECE
- Experience working in a licensed childcare center
- Familiarity with The Creative Curriculum
- Experience with Brightwheel or similar childcare management software

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
