Position Summary
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and TREC-licensed Home Inspector to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is motivated, dependable, and takes pride in delivering clear and professional inspection reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct residential inspections according to TREC (Texas Real Estate Commission) standards
- Inspect major systems including foundation, structure, roof, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical
- Identify and document deficiencies, safety issues, and maintenance concerns
- Provide objective, unbiased, and professional findings in detailed written reports
- Communicate inspection results clearly and professionally to clients and real estate agents
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of TREC regulations and building codes
- Drive to inspection sites in the Dallas area and surrounding communities
- Manage scheduling, time, and workflow efficiently
- Use inspection software and digital tools to complete reports
- Deliver excellent customer service before, during, and after inspections
Qualifications
- Active Home Inspector License through the Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC)
- Must hold current TDA Technician license in order to perform termite (WDI) inspections
- Reside in or near Dallas, Texas
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Comfortable working in attics, crawl spaces, and rooftops
- Tech-savvy, with proficiency in mobile devices, software, and report-writing tools
- Physical ability to carry ladders and inspection equipment
