The Treatment Coordinator serves as the primary liaison between the patient and the clinical team, with a strong focus on case acceptance and revenue growth. This role is responsible for clearly communicating periodontal treatment plans, building trust with patients, and guiding them toward timely acceptance of recommended care. The ideal candidate combines dental knowledge with proven sales ability, excellent communication skills, and a patient-centered approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Present and explain periodontal treatment plans in a clear, confident, and compelling manner
- Drive case acceptance by addressing patient concerns, overcoming objections, and emphasizing the value of treatment
- Discuss fees, insurance benefits, and financing options to support patient commitment
- Follow up with unscheduled or pending treatment patients to convert opportunities into scheduled procedures
- Coordinate scheduling to align treatment acceptance with provider availability and production goals
- Build strong relationships with patients to increase trust, referrals, and long-term retention
- Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs), including case acceptance rate, production, and conversion metrics
- Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure seamless patient experience from consultation to treatment completion
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in practice management software
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a dental or periodontal office preferred
- Proven sales experience (healthcare, dental, or high-value service sales strongly preferred)
- Strong understanding of treatment planning, insurance, and financing options (or willingness to learn quickly)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Confident, persuasive, and goal-oriented mindset
- Ability to handle objections and close sales professionally and ethically
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills
- Proficiency with dental software systems and basic computer skills

Pay: $21.00 - $32.00 per hour
