American Traveler is seeking a Surgical/OR Technologist with current pediatric OR experience for a 13-week hospital assignment in a high-acuity pediatric operating room environment.

Work in a large academic hospital's pediatric OR department, requiring experience at a facility with 500+ beds
-
Pediatric surgical caseload spanning cardiac surgery, general surgery, neurosurgery, orthopedics, plastics, GYN, ENT, ophthalmology, and trauma
-
Mixed weekly schedule consisting of two 12-hour day shifts (Mon–Tue, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM), one 8-hour day shift (Wed, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM), and one overnight shift (Thu, 11:00 PM–7:30 AM)

On-call required per unit, averaging 4–6 calls per 6-week schedule, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays

40 hours per week

Epic EMR used; scrub role

Current pediatric OR experience required

Minimum of 4–5 years of surgical technologist experience

Completion of an accredited surgical technology program required; certification (CST) is not required

BLS certification required

Experience in a 500+ bed facility required

Active licensure required, if applicable

SSN and DOB required for consideration

One professional reference required for consideration

Scrub role supporting a full range of pediatric surgical specialties including cardiac, neuro, ortho, plastics, GYN, ENT, ophthalmology, trauma, and general surgery

Orientation sessions are held on the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month; candidates must clear by 5:00 PM the Thursday prior to the start date
