Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and versatile professional to join our team. This role is designed to ensure seamless operational coverage, acting as the assistant housekeeping lead for two days, with days dedicated to general operational support in our housekeeping department. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and safety across the property. Combining hands-on technical expertise with proactive leadership, you will ensure an exceptional guest experience while supporting the overall upkeep of our facilities.
Housekeeping Leadership Responsibilities
- Oversee daily housekeeping and laundry operations to ensure guest rooms and public spaces meet company quality standards.
- Conduct daily inspections of every guest room to identify maintenance needs or cleanliness issues.
- Lead and motivate staff, providing continuous training and sending employees back to rooms to correct errors when necessary.
- Manage inventory levels for cleaning supplies and guest room essentials to ensure smooth operations.
- Ensure all staff are trained on guest service guarantees and key control procedures.
General Operations & Safety
- Respond promptly to guest requests or emergencies to protect guests, staff, and the building.
- Identify and correct potential safety hazards, such as broken railings or fire hazards.
- Maintain frequent communication with the General Manager and team members regarding project status and budget guidelines.
- Actively participate in achieving the hotel’s guest service score (GSS) goals.
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
