REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience as either a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in a relevant practice such as an Urgent Care, ER, or Trauma Unit
- Ordering and interpreting tests, conducting complete physicals, and administering therapeutic procedures
- Analyzes reports and/or findings of tests and personal examinations in order to assess the medical condition of the patient. This includes diagnosing his/her injury or illness and formulating a prognosis.
- Effectively communicates with patients and other healthcare staff to manage patient care
- Maintains a positive and productive behavior towards employees, paitients, vendors and guest.
- Acts as a Leader within the clinic.
- Refers the patient to other physicians or appropriate resources when and if needed
- Prescribes medication and treatment for the patient. And, the Nurse Practitioner recommends appropriate physical and dietary routines and methods for the prevention of disease.
- Instruct the patient to maintain personal hygiene.
- Performs all services in a manner that is consistent with the standards of medical practice in the community
- Performs such clinical procedures as are consistent with a Nurse Practitioners’ standard practice patterns and training
- Performs or supervises various invasive medical procedures that include: the injection of medications, inoculations, and vaccinations
- Patient focused, friendly, and willing to collaborate in a team environment
- Knowledge of health and patient care regulation
- Valid Medical License
- Active DEA and CDS License
- Available to work weekends
