Toyota of Wallingford is currently seeking a motivated and experienced Internet Sales Assistant / BDC Representative to join our Business Development Center.
If you believe that customer satisfaction is both an art and a science—founded on communication, charisma, and a passion for the product—we want to hear from you. While we offer comprehensive training, prior experience in automotive sales, customer service, or BDC roles is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle inbound and outbound sales calls using a professional and courteous phone manner.
- Follow established scripts and guidelines to schedule appointments and drive traffic to the dealership.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and update CRM systems regularly.
- Conduct timely follow-ups on unscheduled and missed appointments.
- Respond to internet leads through phone calls and emails, adhering to a structured follow-up timeline.
- Support ongoing marketing campaigns through proactive customer outreach.
- Meet or exceed individual and departmental performance goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in BDC or automotive sales.
- Comfortable working with CRM systems, lead management tools, and data entry software.
- Outstanding communication skills—both written and verbal—with a professional and enthusiastic demeanor.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-starter with a team-oriented mindset.
