We're looking for an experienced Dental Assistant who enjoys both clinical assisting and front office responsibilities. If you're proactive, communicate well with patients, enjoy staying productive, and want to help build something special from the beginning, we'd love to meet you.
Responsibilities Clinical
- Chairside assisting
- Digital X-rays and intraoral photos
- Sterilization and infection control
- Operatory setup and breakdown
- Help maintain an efficient clinical schedule
Treatment Coordination & Practice Growth
- Answer phones and schedule patients
- Verify PPO insurance benefits
- Review insurance EOBs
- Submit and follow up on insurance claims
- Present treatment plans and discuss financial arrangements
- Follow up on unscheduled treatment
- Communicate with patients by phone, text, and email
- Support social media, community outreach, and local business partnerships
- Help create an exceptional patient experience from the first phone call through treatment completion
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of dental office experience preferred
- Dental assisting experience required
- RDA preferred, but not required
- Experience with PPO insurance verification, EOB interpretation, and insurance claims preferred
- Treatment coordination experience preferred
- Experience with Oryx Dental Software is a plus
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Organized, dependable, and self-motivated
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
