Warehouse & Retail Sales Associate – Shelby, NC
Hendrick Appliance is hiring a Warehouse & Retail Sales Associate for our Shelby, NC location.
We are looking for a dependable, energetic, and customer-focused individual who is comfortable working in both a warehouse environment and on the retail sales floor.
This position will be primarily based in our warehouse, with approximately two days per week working on the sales floor as a Sales Associate. The right person will be willing to learn all aspects of our business and take pride in providing excellent service whether working behind the scenes or directly with our customers.
Warehouse Responsibilities
- Receive and manage appliance inventory in the warehouse
- Unload incoming freight and properly organize merchandise
- Load appliances onto our delivery trucks
- Prepare and assist with customer appliance pickups
- Safely move large home appliances using hand trucks and other equipment
- Operate a forklift safely and responsibly
- Assist customers with loading purchased appliances into their vehicles or trailers
- Help maintain an organized, clean, and efficient warehouse
- Handle appliances carefully to help prevent product and property damage
Retail Sales Responsibilities
Approximately two days per week, this position will work on our sales floor assisting customers with their appliance needs.
Responsibilities will include:
- Greeting and assisting customers
- Learning our appliance products and brands
- Helping customers select products that fit their needs
- Providing friendly, knowledgeable customer service
- Using basic computer and sales systems
- Working with the rest of our sales team to provide a positive customer experience

- Must be physically capable of safely moving large home appliances with a hand truck
- Ability to safely operate a forklift

- Previous warehouse, delivery, retail, or sales experience is preferred
- Positive attitude and willingness to be part of a team

Pay: $32,000.00 - $46,000.00 per year
