Colorado State University (CSU) Facilities Management Operations Utilities Services Remote Boilers and Chillers (RBC) Team is seeking a temporary maintenance technician. RBC Team mainly supports the CSU Foothills and South Campus Facilities operations and maintenance for heating boilers and cooling chillers along with their associated equipment.
- Assist staff with the operation and maintenance of steam and hot water boilers and associated equipment.
- Assist staff with the maintenance of water and air-cooled chillers and associated equipment.
- Assist staff with obtaining/identifying RBC Shop equipment and inputting information into asset management software.
- Inventory and organize parts.
- Clean and organize mechanical rooms.
- Pre-employment Criminal Background Check (required for new hires)

- Valid Driver’s License
- Essential Services Designation - Required to be on duty to perform essential and/or emergency services of the agency without delay or interruption
- In-person
- Entry level, candidates demonstrating some general mechanical experience supporting facilities systems or equipment will be evaluated higher.
- Demonstrated technician level skills and experience in facilities mechanical systems, Heating, Ventilating and Cooling in an industrial/commercial environment.
- Range - $15 to $25 an hour. Final rate to be determined by hiring official based upon experience level of candidate.
