A well-established hospital in Central New Jersey is seeking a Medical Director of Pathology & Clinical Laboratory Services to lead a collaborative, high-functioning team. Position Highlights

Leadership role overseeing Pathology and Clinical Laboratory Services

Manage a team of 2 Pathologists and 1 Pathologist Assistant

Balanced role: ~85% clinical sign-out / 15% administrative

General Surgical Pathology practice with manageable case volume
-
Participation in Tumor Board and on-call rotation
-
No autopsies required
-
On-site PA support for grossing

Collegial, team-oriented hospital environment
Qualifications
-
M.D. or D.O. with Board Certification in Anatomic & Clinical Pathology (AP/CP)

Active New Jersey medical license (or ability to obtain)

Minimum 2 years of Laboratory Director experience

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Experience with hospital operations, quality improvement, and medical staff functions

Cytopathology experience preferred, not required
