Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to support our HR department in various administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining HR records, communicating with employees on a daily basis, handling excel files and assisting any other HR related tasks. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
Responsibilities
- Assist employees with general questions regarding Payroll, HRIS System, simple benefits questions, uniforms, etc.
- Maintaining HR Electronic Records.
- Maintaining Excel sheets up to date.
- Assisting with PR’s and Migos.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Ensuring to keep all information CONFIDENTIAL
- Additional work-related tasks and responsibilities can be assigned to this position as per job content requirement and/or Supervisor’s request.
- Following the company’s policies and procedures and ensuring to follow the country’s labor laws.
- Qualifications
- Previous experience in human resources or a related field is preferred but not required. High School Diploma or Equivalent with combination of Prior Work Experience
- Ability to keep all information CONFIDENTIAL.
- Specific Knowledge:
- Experience understanding internal and external customer needs and exceeding expectations in providing solutions
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information appropriately
- Track record of building trust and effective collaborative relationships across teams
- Strong complex problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize, plan and organize tasks and information in a fast-paced environment
- Skilled communicator with well-developed listening, verbal, written and presentation abilities
- Able to communicate technical information to non-technical users.
Languages:
IT / Technical Knowledge:
- PC software knowledge including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Technical competency, specifically systems analysis experience (Payroll software and/or HRIS)
Minimum Experience Preferred:
- Two years of increasingly responsible professional experience in Human Resources or Payroll.
Internal Candidates and/or Employees from other GRI factories, are considered competent for this job if they have at least 2 years of experience on similar processes/role.
Preferable Requirement:
- Working experience with SAP is highly desirable
- Bilingual (English-Spanish)
- Experience on Paycom and/or any HRIS/Payroll System utilization highly preferred
