Summary:
This role focuses heavily on system I/O checks, machine debugging, and PLC troubleshooting (specifically diagnosing, modifying, and fixing issues within Allen Bradley ControlLogix systems and HMI programming). The role collaborates closely with mechanical setup technicians and client plant personnel to rapidly isolate technical failures, resolve field emergencies, and ensure system functionality meets client approval
Responsibilities:
- Primary responsibilities include the startup of complex industrial equipment
- Responsible for system I/O check, debug and startup
- Will be involved in leading and participating in problem solving activities
- Interact with suppliers and customers to successful complete equipment startups
- Works closely with senior mechanical setup technician to ensure that the machine functionality is complete and approved by the client
- Coordinates, documents, and files all history associated with a specific job
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems in the field
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 5 plus year(s) of experience with HMI programming
- 5 plus year(s) of experience with Allen Bradley Controllogix
- Travel is 25%, doing commissioning and installation of equipment
- Experience with automated industrial equipment

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
