The company has an immediate need for a welder/fabricator. Pay is determined by weld test and experience.
General Summary
The Fabricator is responsible for welding and fabricating metal components using STICK, MIG (Metal Inert Gas) and TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding processes. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings to ensure welded structures meet quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform mostly STick and MIG and with some TIG welding on various metals including steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols to determine specifications.
- Set up welding equipment, select proper materials, and adjust settings based on job requirements.
- Fabricate and assemble metal parts according to design specifications.
- Inspect welded surfaces and structures to identify defects and ensure quality standards are met.
- Grind, clean, and finish welds as required.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment and tools.
- Work closely with production teams, supervisors, and quality control to ensure projects are completed accurately and on time.
- Document completed work and report any production or material issues.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience with MIG and TIG welding in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
- Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols.
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Knowledge of metal fabrication and welding techniques.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
- Understanding of welding safety procedures and PPE requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Welding certification (AWS or similar).
- Experience with stainless steel, aluminum, or specialty metals.
- Familiarity with fabrication tools such as grinders, saws, and cutting torches
Shift is 7 AM - 3:30PM.

Pay: $21.00 - $22.00 per hour
