Stewartsville C-2 School District is seeking a caring, organized, and student-centered educator to serve as our Preschool Teacher for the upcoming school year. This position leads a tuition-based preschool program serving students ages 3–5 in preparation for kindergarten readiness. The successful candidate will create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment focused on foundational math, literacy, communication, and social-emotional skills.
The Preschool Teacher will work collaboratively with district staff, families, and the district’s Parents as Teachers (PAT) program to support early childhood development and strengthen school-family partnerships. This position includes both part-day and full-day preschool students, with paraprofessional support provided within the classroom setting.
Qualified applicants should demonstrate strong early childhood instructional practices, effective classroom management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to maintain organization within a busy preschool environment. Responsibilities also include managing preschool schedules, maintaining accurate records, communicating regularly with families, and overseeing tuition-related financial management and billing processes.
