This is a full-time position at Beagle Middle School supporting students in both a resource and co-taught capacity. Special education teachers in Grand Ledge Specifically, this position has a focus on English Language Arts (ELA) across both grade levels (7th and 8th grade), providing individualized instruction to dynamic learners in the area of reading and writing. The resource component of this position will be teaching dynamic learners self-advocacy and self-determination skills while providing individualized, targeted instruction as necessary. This position will also support the case management (IEP writing) for 2-3 students within our distance learning program associated with Beagle Middle. The total caseload for this position will consist of 15-18 students in total. The position also includes an additional $3,800 stipend for Special Education Teachers and 4 contractual IEP days for completing paperwork.
Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate preferred Learning Disabled endorsement.
