Job Title: Sr. Manager, Oncology & Multispecialty Communications
Location: Dallas or The Woodlands, Texas (REQUIRED)
Hybrid/Onsite/Remote: HYBRID position
Position Summary:
This role is responsible for internal and external communications for McKesson’s North American Pharmaceutical Services (NAPS) Oncology & Multispecialty businesses. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of achievement in a highly matrixed organization and excels at building and influencing strong cross functional relationships. This role also requires the ability to leverage AI-powered tools and workflows to enhance employee experience, accelerate execution, and deliver impactful messaging aligned with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute public relations strategies and plans supporting key business priorities, while advancing the broader Oncology & Multispecialty vision and the McKesson enterprise vision, including the use of AI-driven insights to refine message positioning and strengthen storytelling.
Collaborate closely with functions such as marketing, public affairs, legal, and others to shape and optimize plans and execution.
Inclusive of speaking opportunities, bylines, social media, newsletters, website content, etc.
Conduct proactive and responsive media relations, including relationship management with key beat reporters and use of AI tools to monitor sentiment, trends, and timely opportunities.
Collaborate with Corporate Affairs colleagues to strengthen functional capabilities, including identifying opportunities to automate routine tasks, design AI workflows, and deploy Copilot agents that enhance productivity and scale communications processes.
Expertise/Capabilities should include:
Demonstrated excellence in organizational communications, media relations, change communications, issues management, as well as data and milestone communications, with the ability to use AI-enhanced tools to elevate precision, clarity and impact, including proficiency with AI-powered drafting and content development platforms (Microsoft Copilot).

4-year degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Journalism, English, or relevant field
