(If you’re the guy everyone calls to “just fix it,” keep reading.)
Do you walk onto a job and immediately see what needs to be torn out, rebuilt, adjusted, and finished? Are you the carpenter who gets handed the punch list because you actually finish jobs the right way?
We are looking for a skilled, all-around carpenter who isn’t afraid to demo, rebuild, and dial in the details to finish projects efficiently and professionally.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll handle jobs from demo to final punch-out, including:
- Selective demo (drywall, trim, cabinets, flooring, doors)
- Tearing out water- or storm-damaged materials
- Framing repairs and light structural fixes
- Hanging and patching drywall
- Installing doors, windows, cabinets, trim, and hardware, baseboards, casing, crown, transitions — the details matter
- Flooring punch-outs
- Caulking, touch-ups, and final “make it look perfect” work
- Wrapping up punch lists and getting jobs across the finish line
- Working from scopes written by project managers
- Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding, patching, and priming
- Apply paint, stain, and finishes to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces
- Ensure clean and neat job sites, protecting furniture and flooring
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of carpentry experience (restoration experience strongly preferred)
- Comfortable performing both demolition and finish carpentry
- Ability to work independently and problem-solve in the field
- Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
- Reliable transportation
- Professional demeanor when working in occupied homes
- Clean driving record
- Ability to pass background screening. This includes: No act of violent crime and misdemenor and no felonies at all.
What We Offer
- Steady, year-round work
- Competitive pay based on experience
- Supportive team environment
- Clear scopes, organized job management, and support from Superintendents
